Confident sniffers 4 week course: An introduction to scentwork 

 Unlike other courses, ours teaches you the science behind nosework. Not just what to teach but how and why.

You will learn briefly about:
* The science behind olfaction (sniffing), the seeking system and the feel good dopamine chemical 
* The nose behind canine intelligence

* How to track a roast chicken AND a human 
* How to prepare to take nosework further onto Level 1 (detecting a target odour)
*The benefits of sniffing for ALL dogs be they anxious, hyperactive, reactive dogs or elderly!
*How to use the outdoors as a natural snuffling haven!

Your dog will learn:
*How to use their nose
*How to track a roast chicken AND  a human
*How to search when cued and LOVE searching
*How to detect a specific scent (Level 1) 
And much more!

About the trainer
Sophia is a science and reward based trainer with a BSc in Zoology and MSc in Animal Heatlh and welfare. She believes any learning should be fun and nosework is KEY to so many behavioural issues and overall happiness! She is a puppy training coach and qualified Scentwork UK trainer.

Cerficate: You will recieve an e-certificate on graduation. £40 (=£10ph)

Course layout
*Weekly 1 hour interactive group sessions (max 4 people) with time at the end for Q&A's and discussion plus homework
*Lifetime access to the private Confident sniffers fb group where you can share videos, links and ask for help.
*Chance to progress onto our 4 week Level 1 course which will prep you for a mini trial and the real life Scentwork UK trials
